Turophile means "cheese lover."

Language Notes
Turophile is definitely a recently invented word in English, drawing on the Greek words "tyros" (cheese) and "philos" ("love").

It's not known exactly who made it up. The word was around in the late 1930s, though used very rarely.

Clifton Fadiman (died 20 June 1999 in Florida, aged 95), host of the American radio quiz show "Information Please" from 1938 to 1952, brought it to the attention of his audience (which averaged 9 million listeners) sometime in the early 1950s.
