Toasted are toasted sandwiches usually cooked in a sandwich maker machine.

It is a sandwich made from unbuttered slices of bread, with a filling such as cheese and something else in the middle. Cheese helps to hold the sandwich together when it melts.

Occasionally you may see the outsides of the bread butter before cooking.

It is toasted, and then served hot.

Known as "jaffles" in Australia; "tosti" in The Netherlands.
