A grouping for citrus fruits which are the result of crossing, accidentally or deliberately or on their own, between tangerines and oranges.
Sometimes, you will see it explained as a cross between a mandarin and an orange, which is technically true given that a tangerine is a mandarin orange.
But it is a bit easier to explain that tangerine + orange = tangor. After all, it's not a mandor, is it?
