Sugar Snap Peas
Unlike Snow Peas, Sugar Snaps do not need their string removed before eating. As well, Sugar Snaps have plumper pods with bigger peas in them.

They are a cross between Snow and English Garden Peas. You eat them whole, pod and all.

Cooking Tips
Wash. No need to remove string or top and tail. You can eat them raw, steam for 3 minutes, or stir-fry. Just don't overcook or you lose the crisp flavour and texture.

Substitutes
