Spring Wheat is a term used to describe a grouping of wheats that are planted in the spring, and harvested in the fall of the same year.
Generally, these are soft-grained wheats, but there are some hard-grain varieties as well that are classed as Spring Wheat.
North Dakota is the largest grower of spring wheat in America.
