Rubel Blueberries grow in loose clusters and are ready for a late harvest, but they must be picked on time for stem to properly detach

They are good for machine harvesting for processing.

History
A man named man named Ruben Leek found this bush in the wilds of New Jersey (USA) in 1912 (some sources say March 1913) and brought cuttings to Elizabeth Coleman White and Dr Frederick V. Coville, who were working on domesticating blueberry berries. They named it after him, changing the "n" of his first name to an "l", making Rubel (they decided that calling it the Leek blueberry would be too confusing.)
