Roasted Leg of Lamb Day : 7 May

In the northern hemisphere, it's warm enough to do roast a leg of lamb out on your backyard grill, especially if you have a spit. And in Australia, where it's autumn, today is a good excuse for an all-out roast dinner.

Of if today's a work day, treat yourself and a friend to roast lamb at a restaurant.

North America is probably the only place in the world where most people avoid lamb. North Americans think they don't like the taste, and lamb in North America is quite expensive compared to how much lamb costs elsewhere. But if you haven't tried lamb lately, or ever, today's a good day to give it a try.
