Quinoa Flour is made from ground, whole quinoa. It ends up with a creamy colour. It is very expensive.
Cooking Tips
To try it in baked good recipes, you can replace up to 1/2 of the flour with Quinoa Flour. It is higher in fat than wheat flours such as all-purpose or plain, so it will make your baked goods moister in addition to altering their taste.
Substitutes
To make 1 cup Quinoa Flour, grind in a blender 3/4 cup whole quinoa until it reaches the consistency and texture of a fine cornmeal.
Storage
Store in sealed container.
