Marmande Tomatoes
Marmande are medium to large-sized tomatoes with glossy red skin that appears slightly wrinkled.

The flavour is sometimes weak, but the tomatoes can be eaten while still a little green.

They ripen well in cool weather.

The plant is very productive.

Cooking Tips
Can be used in salads, in ratatouille, for stuffing.

History
Marmande Tomatoes originated in Marmande, France, between Bordeaux and Agen near the Garonne river in the Lot-et-Garonne Department. The tomatoes are still a speciality of the area, grown in greenhouses.
