Little Giant Blueberries ripen all at the same time, late July to early August, and can be machine harvested.

History
Little Giant Blueberries were first selected by A.D. Draper of the USDA-ARS at the USDA's Beltsville, Maryland (USA) facilities in 1967 from a cross between Northern Highbush and Rabbiteye blueberries. Draper meant it to be breeding material, but then recognized that the bush might be good enough to actually put into production.

They were released by Mark Ehlenfeldt of the United States Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service.
