Kentucky Field Pumpkins

Kentucky Field Pumpkins are usually somewhat squat, with smooth, dull orange-tan, hard rind that has slight ribbing.

They have thick flesh walls, and at their centre, coarse yellow flesh. They will grow 10 to 18 inches (25 to 45 cm) wide and weigh 10 to 15 pounds (4 ½ to 6 ¾ kg.)

They are used for commercially canned pumpkin pie purée, and for feeding to animals.

The plant can cross-pollinate with butternut squash plants.

120 days from seed.
