There will be 5 to 8 cloves per bulb.
The garlic has a hottish flavour.

History
Discovered by Merlyn and Mary Ann Niedens on a farm in southern Illinois; they named it after the nearby Kaskaskia River. The family had grown it for a few generations and didn't know its origin or its true name, if it had one.
