Howden Pumpkins

They are somewhat tall, though occasionally round, with hard, rich orange skin with slight ribbing, and thick, firmly attached handles.
They have a thick flesh wall, and thick, solid flesh.
They will weigh 20 to 25 pounds (9 to 11 kg), though they have been known to grow up to 60 pounds (27 kg.)
They can be used as an ornamental, or for pies.
100 to 115 days from seed.
Will cross with zucchini.
Howden Pumpkins were developed by John Howden in the early 1970s at Howden Farm in Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA.
