Half-High Blueberries

They are all the result, as the name might indicate, from crosses between high and lowbush blueberries. They will grow only 2 to 4 feet (.6 to 1.2 metres) tall.
They are ideal blueberry bushes for northern America and for Canada, as they are hardy in cold weather, down to as low as - 40 F / -40 C if well-covered in snow.
In general, these bushes will partially be able to pollinate themselves, though they will always do better with another variety to cross-pollinate with.
Developing Half-High Blueberry bushes is a specialty of breeding programmes in Michigan and Minnesota.
