Granulated Garlic
Granulated Garlic is granules of dehydrated finely minced garlic.

It is off-white in colour, and free-flowing, with a stronger taste than garlic powder.

Some brands are pure; some have been strengthened with garlic oil or imitation garlic flavour. Some will contain colouring such as annatto.

It is often mixed with salt to make garlic salt.

Cooking Tips
You can rub it in meat before cooking. Rubbing it on fowl before cooking will help form a crispy skin.

It can be visible in some dishes, whereas garlic powder will disappear.

It won't burn as easily over flame as fresh garlic does.

Equivalents
1 teaspoon granulated garlic = 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 tsp granulated garlic = 1 medium clove of garlic
35.5 teaspoons = 1 oz / 28 g
