Gold Rush Pumpkins
Gold Rush Pumpkins have dark orange moderately ribbed rind, with thick walls and a thick, short handle about 3 inches (7 1/2 cm) wide, and 4 inches (10 cm) long.
They will grow to be about 7 to 8 inches (18 to 20 cm) wide and 30 to 40 pounds (13 ½ to 18 kg.)
They are used as ornamental pumpkins for carving.
100 days from seed.
F1 hybrid, vine type.
History
Developed by Rupp Seeds partly from Golden Zucchini. United States Patent 5811642.
During development, referred to as "RS1294,"
Released 1999.
