Gold Raspberries are not just unripe red raspberries. They are raspberries that actually ripen to be gold.

The gold colour can range from pale yellow to deep gold.

Though taste varies by cultivar, just as it does red raspberries, the taste is basically the same as you would expect from red raspberries. They are, however, more delicate and harder to ship than red raspberries.

There are several cultivars, including one popular one called "Fall Gold" that originated in Korea.
