Language Notes about Frangivento Olives

Its name, Frangivento, which means "wind break", is owing to the shape of the tree. Because the branches grow upright like a column, the tree is often grown as a wind-break. Its other name, Cipressino, refers to its shape again, in that it is shaped like a Cyprus tree.
