Fettuccine is as long as spaghetti, but flatter and wider than linguine. It is made with egg in the dough.
You can buy it fresh or dried. When sold fresh, it is often sold curled up in nests.
The most famous use is in Fettuccine Alfredo.
Fettuccelli
A slightly narrower version.
Fettucci
A slightly wider version.
Cooking Tips
Cook dried fettuccine for 10 to 12 minutes.
