Emerald Gem Melons have thin green rind with ribbing.

Inside, they have pale orange flesh, and a small seed cavity. The flesh is juicy and sweet, and has a musky flavour.

The melons range from 2 to 3 pounds (900 to 1400g.)

The plant is very productive.

History
Emerald Gem Melons were introduced by Burpee's Seed Company in 1886.
