Mock Marzipan

For those with nut allergies.

You can use another flavouring such as orange or rosewater, if you wish.


Ingredients

5 oz Semolina
5 oz Icing Sugar
2 tablespoons Custard (powder)
1 Egg White
2 teaspoons Vanilla





Directions



Mix together all the dry ingredients.

Beat the egg white lightly, then add it to the dry ingredients along with the vanilla extract. Mix it until it forms a firm, smooth paste, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until needed.
