Braised Red Cabbage

White wine, red, malt or cider vinegar is nice.

Lovely with mash and something else.


Ingredients

half Red Cabbage (sliced thinly)
2 tablespoons Butter
half Onion (sliced thinly)
handful Raisins
1 tablespoon Vinegar





Directions



Cook all the above in a covered saucepan or frying pan until the cabbage is tender -- about 10 minutes.
