A Danish Bread Whisk consists of a long wooden handle, at the end of which is attached two rings of stiff wire, a smaller one inside a larger one.

The outer ring is about 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter; the smaller ring has a loop introduced into its circle. The handle is generally about 11 inch (28 cm) long, to give you lots of leverage. From the end of the ring to the end of the handle, it will be about 15 inches (38 cm) long.

It is far easier to beat bread dough with this whisk than a spoon. It can be used for anything from batters to stiff bread doughs, and is good for things like muffin mixes, which you want a bit lumpy, and also don't want to overmix.

It mixes without incorporating air.

It is easier to clean than standard balloon whisks
