Creamed Coconut is a solid white block of coconut meat. It looks like a block of white shortening or lard. It is usually sold on store shelves, not in the chillers.

It's made from just coconut. It's not sweetened; the sweetness you taste will be the natural sweetness.

This is sometimes confusingly called "Coconut Cream", which is actually quite different.
