Bolo de Milho

They are made with corn kernels, cornmeal, coconut milk, condensed milk, sugar, baking powder and egg. The dough is mixed, then spread out to form flat, round breads, then baked for 30 minutes.
A version called "Bolo de milho Carioca" is made without the corn kernels, and a lot more sugar, and with cheese added.
Another version called "Bolo de fubá" is made as above, but with less sugar, and with coconut flakes instead of cheese.
"Milho" means "corn."
Bolo de Milho are also called Bolo de milho verde ("verde" meaning green or young corn, as in "corn niblets".)
