Big Autumn Pumpkins
The rind of Big Autumn Pumpkins ripens from yellow to bright orange early, ahead of the rest of the pumpkin.
They can grow to be 12 inches (30 cm) wide by 15 inches (38 cm) tall, and weigh 5 to 15 pounds (2 1/4 kg to 7 kg.)
They can be used for pies, but are better as an ornamental.
Semi-bush plant.
100 days from seed.
History
Developed by Paul Yorty of Rogers Seed Company in Twin Falls, Idaho.
During development, it was referred to as "87S259."
Released 1989.
