Bigaroon Cherries
Bigaroon is the name of a group of Sweet Cherries.

All cherries in this group are round with firm, crisp flesh. The skin is light with blushes of light red. The flesh, which may be red or yellow, gives off a clear juice. The cherries are sweet with just a bit of tang.

The other family of Sweet Cherries is called "Mazzard".

Also called: Bigarreau Prunus avium var. duracina (Scientific Name)
